Nestled in the heart of the city, A Touch of Salt is Townsville’s premier waterfront restaurant destination and offers diners an exceptional culinary experience. The proprietors, who are 2016 Chef Hat winners, sought a website that conveyed the class and ethos they have brought to the table since 2005. A website that was unified with their social media and run on an easy to use CMS was high on their priority list.
Solution
Granted an open brief and creative license on the site’s design, we set out to create an inviting and immersive user experience to showcase the colours and flavours of this exciting restaurant. The homepage grid interface is completely manageable from A Touch of Salt’s Xargo CMS interface. As such, they’re able to easily add new tiles for upcoming events, specials and anything else they need to advertise, including their latest Instagram post! The site is also integrated with a booking system, email subscription and an ecommerce payment form for gift vouchers.
