The Cairns Institute is located at James Cook University’s Cairns Campus. This state-of-the-art centre provides research, training and learning areas, as well as conference, exhibition and meeting spaces within a building designed to be an icon of sustainable tropical architecture.
We were approached to develop a new responsive website that would reflect The Cairns Institute’s progressive values and provide a digital hub for all of their activity. We delivered an exceptionally crafted site with a focus on user experience. Extraordinary images of the research building complement the presentation of important information on research themes, people, news and events.
The Cairns Institute also sought more flexibility from their CMS and gained a valuable platform for communication from their new site, with the ability to manage their own content through Xargo CMS.
